ChiBall™ is based on the philosophy of Traditional Chineses Medicine (TCM).
The classes are created to align with the natural ebb and flow of TCM’s 5 elements (the phases through which the Yin / Yang energy is expressed) e.g. Wood: Spring, Fire: High Summer, Earth: Late Summer, Metal: Autumn and Water: Winter using music & movement – colours & aromas to complete the experience.
6 movement styles: QiGong/Tai Chi, Dance, Yoga, Pilates, Release & Relaxation/Meditation, are combined in each class to achieve the balance required for the season.
This may sound like a lot but the carefully selected movement of each style are easy to learn ultimately creating a choreographed class of movement against a background of ChiBall’s bespoke ambient music.
We will have fun moving with the ChiBall!
** Classes run on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri mornings starting at either 9:30 or 11:30am and Mon, Tues and Thu evenings starting at either 6:00 or 7:30pm – Spaces are limited – Booking and Prepayment is required via Body Mind as One’s website **
